3 Assessment Instruments The Bartell Online Assessments are a key component of everything we do - these assessments personalize your experience by measuring who you are, your leadership style, and where you are in your personal development. You will need to have completed these assessments prior to attending Leadership Flight School. If you need to complete these assessments, please watch for an from instruments@peoplefolio.com. You will receive your results when you arrive at Leadership Flight School - if you ve previously completed the Bartell Online Assessments for another workshop, please bring your burgundy Bartell Assessment Portfolio and we ll provide you with any updates to go with your original results. Bartell Online Assessments The assessments you will need for Leadership Flight School include: DISCription Temperament Inventory. This is the foundation on which personaltiy forms; it measures dominance and recessivness of four temperament types. The Profile. Measures more enduring aspects of personality. Interpersonal Measurement And Group Effectiveness (IMAGE). A measurement of core traits that transcend personality within an interpersonal and organizational context. Personality Vector Analysis (PVA). Measures personality dynamics; a snapshot of an individual s development. Stress Source Profile (SSP). A measurement of an individual s current response to ten (10) different organizationally-induced stressors. Leadership Alignment Index (LAI). Measures dominant leadership style and effectiveness. Conflict Management. A measurement of an individual s approach to dealing with conflict. All of the above instrument results come together to form your Personal Assessment Portfolio, which will help answer questions such as: What are my strengths that I can build as a leader? What are my underdeveloped areas and how can I improve them? Do I have any qualities that could inhibit effective leadership? How can I better align myself with team members? What are my dominant traits? How does my style impact those I work with? What leadership areas do I need to develop? Debrief on Assessment Results If you needed to complete the assessments or had updates to your original results, we will walk you through those results either in advance of the session (over the phone), or in person while you are here. 4 Hotel Information Recommended Hotels You are welcome to stay at any hotel in the State College area, but for your convenience, we recommend The Courtyard By Marriott or the Residence Inn. Both hotels are less than 5 minutes from our facilities and offer special rates for our guests. The Courtyard By Marriott is convenient and recently renovated. The hotel has a full-service cafe in the lobby, indoor pool and fitness center, and has modern touches. 5 Travel Information Air Travel We recommend that you fly directly into State College Airport ( which puts you within 15 minutes of your lodging and the class located at Bartell & Bartell, Ltd.
