Mst libraries d nt cllect alternative press resurces in the same manner as they d material frm mainstream publishers. The alternative press presents ideas and arguments that are nt ften fund in mainstream material as many f the ideas cntradict ruling idelgies and perspectives. Yu can use alternative press resurces t cmplement the infrmatin yu find in mre traditinal peridical and newspaper databases. T lcate s, yu may use ne f the fllwing MCTC subscriptin databases: Alternative Health Watch, an EBSCOhst database that fcuses n cmplementary, alternative and integrated appraches t health care and wellness. Alt-Press Watch, a PrQuest database that includes full-text alternative press newspapers, magazines and jurnal articles. Please be sure yur article is available full-text, is frm an alternative press database and that there is n verlap r duplicatin in article selectin. Team members shuld clsely scan their selected full-text and prvide a justificatin & evaluatin fr each article selected. NOTE: Yu will see space prvided belw fr up t 5 articles. Each team will have n mre than 5 members, and many will have less, s please nly use the number f bxes needed by yur individual team. If ne r mre team member fails t cmplete their prtin f the assignment, this will nt affect the grade f the assignment (unless all members fail t cntribute) but will affect the grade f the individuals wh did nt cntribute.
