Activities to try during the evening include: Creative Writing, Hobby Ceramics, Furniture Restoration / Woodcraft, Counselling Skills, Digital Photography, Creative Sewing and Functional Skills Maths. The workshops can be extended if there is sufficient interest. A short course to learn the basic techniques to create your own unique piece jewellery. Suitable for all abilities. Tutor will advise material costs at the first. The course can be extended for another 5 weeks if there is sufficient interest. Join this fun and friendly class and learn how to decorate celebration cakes for all occasions or add to the cake decorating skills you have already got. Some materials are included and further supplies will be available from your tutor for a nominal fee. The course can be extended for another 5 weeks if there is sufficient interest. This course will teach you some the basic principles counselling Are you inspired by Kirsty Allsop and the shabby chic art sewing? If yes, then this creative and friendly course is the one for you. 4 2 Digital Photography - Improvers Functional Skills Maths - Level 1 & 2 Furniture Restoration / Woodcraft Hobby Ceramics Cake Decorating - Intermediate * Free taster The Improver's course will cover landscapes, photographing nature, table-top photography, studio portraiture and night photography. A functional skills maths course that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification either at Level 1 or Level 2. You will learn how to use and look after hand tools and the art staining, varnishing and polishing in a relaxed environment. You will be able to make items woodcraft that reflect your capability or learn how to restore a chosen piece furniture. Some materials are included in the price. Learn the basics ceramic bisqueware painting and discover different painting techniques using the medium acylic opague stains and a varierty brushes. The course can be extended for another 5 weeks if there is sufficient interest. Wisbech Area course.
