10 Chapter Thirteen Draw a Christmas tree and decorate it with popcorn strings and green and red paper chains. Why did the first tree lose all its needles? Look up A Christmas Carol. What is the name of the selfish old man who is the main character that gets visited by ghosts? No one s name is mentioned for who got to play the role of the selfish old man. By process of elimination, can you make a guess who might have played that role? Why were the children so surprised when they saw the pictures Miss Agnes had taken with her camera? When Miss Agnes showed the pictures of England, what was Fred surprised to learn?
11 Chapter Fourteen Miss Agnes taught the children to read by writing them little books about themselves. What would your book be like? Write a short story about you. Be sure to include where you live and who you live with, what you do when you work and when you play.
