A ADVANCED PROJECT MANAGEMENT (A) In support of the PMI Talent Triangle, BW has aligned a series of courses to make it easy for the PMP credential holder to manage PDUs in the required talent areas. RISK MANAGEMENT April PDUs (T), (S/B); $ Risk management is any uncertainty in any project that you can control or at least track. The trick is to identify those uncertain events that are the most critical and could impact project success, and then analyze and manage them. Using tools such as Force Field Analysis Prioritization you will be better prepared to focus on the high risk, resource consuming tasks, and prioritize and keep an eye on the rest. In addition to providing best practice risk management theory, this course includes hands-on case studies focused on risk application, risk audit and risk communication planning. When change management activities are integrated together with the project or process improvement, only then the organization will realize longterm behavior change that will provide the return on investment. At the end of the certification program, you will leave with the ability to run a project, but with some coaching. During the two months, you will attend two training sessions, one month apart, and totaling five full-day classes. In addition to the classroom training, you will work on a project case study that can start when the classes begin. The program is over when the project has been completed, which could extend the full program time to three months. The project will require a thorough knowledge of the GB course topics and will require a solid use of the tools to complete. Personal ethics are directly related to what an individual values what the person believes to be fair and appropriate and how these beliefs impact the individual s behavior. A company s ethical reputation is dependent upon the ethics of its employees, and is even more dependent on the ethics of its leadership. In this course, participants will explore their personal beliefs and examine how these beliefs influence their behavior as human beings, employees and managers. Participants will examine the concept of business ethics and how ethics should influence an organization s business practices. Case studies dealing with ethical issues and dilemmas will be analyzed to allow participants to identify what actions (or inaction) contributed to these situations.
