3 Basic & Advanced Life Support Basic Life Support BLS, Adult Basic Life Support self-paced course This course was developed in accordance with the AHA, ACLS 2010 guidelines. It covers the BLS algorithm, as well as semi-automatic defibrillator operation. The course uses a unique approach to teaching algorithms that is designed to allow focus on specific components while maintaining the big picture. The simulator provides learners a chance to recognize and treat witnessed arrest patients. ACS, Acute Coronary Syndrome Management virtual simulator This interactive on-screen simulator enables learners to practice and improve their ACS skills on-line. Including dozens of real-life decisions, this simulator allows learners to experience the responsibility and challenge of acute coronary syndrome management without leaving their computer.
