5 Standardized Patients An individual who is trained to portray a real patient in order to simulate a set of symptoms or problems used for healthcare education, evaluation, and research. (Society for Simulation in Healthcare, 2016) 2012 Boise State University 5

Maggie has arranged for a home visit because George has been calling at strange hours and doesn t seem to realize what time it is.
