Paper-based homework must be neat and legible on 8.5 x 11 paper. For project type assignments, typed report is required with appropriate explanations and visualizations of your analyses. You may use Excel or computer program language, as necessary. Your spreadsheet or program code (if too long, just a few first pages) should be attached to your report. Late homework will still be accepted with following penalty rate:

4 (score reduction rate) = 0.75 n where n = days since the due date. Once the solutions are posted, homework will no longer be accepted. The homework and exam solutions will be distributed by the class web site. It is strongly recommended that you obtain all solutions and study them afterward since the final exam will cover material from the entire semester.
