Of course Prayer and the Holy Spirit are a large part of this too. This is a short compilation to coaching tools to help you work towards forming a life purpose statement. 2. Complete general values 3. Complete Vital Questions form 4. Complete interest assessment 5. Form a Life Purpose Statement where you describe what you would like to do for God and for whom and if possible where 6. 3 Background on Jane Johnson Jane is an experienced diploma qualified Coach with 12 years experience coaching clients, founding Aspect Coaching and the International Life purpose Institute. She has developed her material over many years and tested it out on clients, compiling it into a book she published some years ago. She has a broad background in HR and Learning and Development and is qualified to Graduate Diploma level. She has been a passionate committed Christian for 33 years and is an active philanthropist and founder of a NFP.

4 WORK VALUES QUESTIONAIRE This exercise is useful when deciding on a vocation change or seeking more satisfaction in the workplace. It is also useful in the coaching process, to ensure the goals you set are in alignment with your values and therefore the right goals for you. Memorizing your top 5 values can also be a useful aid in future decision-making. 5 Vital Questions to Discover Your Ideal Calling and Life Purpose. What do you love to do whether in your spare time or in the workplace? (Think beyond your current role) What parts of your present job or life activities do you thoroughly enjoy? What do you naturally do well? What are some things you have done well in your life to date? List some causes or areas that you feel passionate about and rank in order of importance? What have you daydreamed about doing in your life or God has placed on your heart? What would you do if you knew you could not fail? 5

Tick those words that summarize what you are passionate about doing. 8 Attempt to write out your Life Purpose Statement My Life Purpose is to...(essence of what you want to do which may be one of the words in the interest assessment) Through working with...(nominate the type of people you want to work with and the ideal type of organisation if you know this at this stage) Examples are Empowering Leaders to make a difference to the disenfranchised Creating employment in the service sector Counselling young people to overcome brokenness This may take many attempts to refine this over your life as you become more self- aware or as your values change. Ensure your work values fit the organization you choose and the interest group is a narrow as you can define it at present.
