Design an effective resume utilizing the proper format and following resume rules; 2. Create and effective cover letter by expressing interest in the position, exhibiting selling skills and qualifications; 3. Compose a thank you letter; 4. Summarize his or her experience, education, and skills during an interview process with effective use of grammar, proper etiquette, and visual appearance; 5. Compile a professional career portfolio; 6. Demonstrate an understanding of the skills needed to succeed on the job and get promoted. Step 1: Watch this video on voice reflection. Step 2: After you have watched the video, say the following statement aloud in a monotone voice: "I didn't say she liked him" Step 3: Now read the same statement six more times aloud, each time placing emphasis on a different word in the sentence. Do you see how the meaning of the statement changes depending upon where you place your emphasis? Step 4: Compose a thoughtful summary response to the following points as your main discussion post. On the discussion board, write one important statement about yourself. Highlight each word in your statement and explain how the meaning changes depending upon which word you emphasize.
