2 TEAM BATH RACING is the University of Bath s Formula Student racing team. What We Do: Team Bath Racing is an educational project led by undergraduate students, who design and build a racing car to compete in Formula Student competitions across Europe. Team Bath Racing is more than a project to build a fast racecar. By supporting us, you will be supporting the education of the next generation of engineers and will enable us to take the experiences gained during this project into the workplace. To us, this project is about: Maintaining the Best of British: We are incredibly proud of Team Bath Racing s history as being the top ranked British team for a number of years. By winning Formula Student Czech Republic 2016, we became the first UK team to win any Formula Student competition. Teamwork and Collaboration: As a team of 21 Mechanical and Automotive engineers, we believe that effective teamwork is the best way to work and prepare for working in industry. We also enjoy discussing design solutions with other teams from around the world. Real World Experience: Team Bath Racing facilitates the invaluable learning that comes through hands-on experience and genuine competition. Inspiring Others: Team Bath Racing is a unique opportunity for us to encourage involvement in engineering and other STEM subjects. In 2016, our most successful year to date, approximately 85% of our funding was through sponsorship. Why Sponsor Team Bath Racing? Sponsoring Team Bath Racing is an opportunity for: Brand Promotion The car and project provide an exciting platform for promoting your brand at the University of Bath, at events we attend and online. This means exposure to an audience of more than 15,000 University of Bath Students, 6,000 Facebook followers, 2,000 Twitter followers and attendees of all the events and competitions at which we participate in throughout the year. Additionally, one of our Facebook posts in 2016 reached over 42,000 users. Access to Students More than 100 students of all year groups and engineering disciplines are involved in Team Bath Racing. Additionally, Team Bath Racing has a permanent display of a previous car displaying sponsor logos in the Department of Mechanical Engineering foyer, on show to over 1000 engineering students.
