For the individual presentation, it should not take more than 8 minutes. For the group presentation it should not take more than 15 minutes. 2 A: Presenter s Performance (60%) (for group presentation 60%) T h e p r e s e n t e r o p e n e d h i s presentation strongly in which he engaged the audience through humor, questions, facts, stories, or persuading arguments. The presenter explained his learning outcomes clearly to the audience. The presenter introduced himself to the audience with confident, and introduced the topic with enthusiasm. The presenter kept effective eyecontact during the presentation, and used hand gestures to grab the attention of the audience. The presenter did not read a lot from his slides and the audience s attention were toward him not the slides. He was controlling the audience attention to either him or his slides. The presenter clearly shifts from one topic to another in which the audience did not lose interest nor felt disoriented. The presenter was confident all the time; he had a smile on his face, with gestures full of confidence. The presenter s voice was clear, and his notation changed as necessary. He pauses and speaks s l o w l y w h e n h e w a n t t o emphasize an important point. The presenter tried to open his presentation with an engaging joke, story, fact, or humor; he was able to engage some of the audience but was not very successful. The presenter read his learning outcomes to the audience. The presenter introduced himself and his topic but it was not persuasive nor that engaging. The presenter tried to keep eyecontact and early used his hand gestures to engage the audience. The presenter did not read although in some points he read where he could have avoided that. He tried to control the audience s attention to either him or the slides at times he was successful, and in others wasn t. The presenter tried to shift successfully from one topic to a n o t h e r ; a t t i m e s h e w a s successful and at times he wasn t. His audience had problems cooping up with the presentation s progress. The presenter was, to an extent, confident. Although, it seems that he was feeling nervous or stressful. The presenter s voice was fairly clear, although he had problems with his voice intonation. He did not, at times, pause nor speak slowly when it was required to do so. The presenter did not open his presentation with anything and did not engage the audience. The presenter did not refer at all to the learning outcomes. The presenter did not introduce himself nor his topic. The presenter did not have any eye-contact with the audience nor any interactive hand gestures. The presenter only read his presentation and the audience s attention was towards the slides not the presenter. The presenter did not indicate when he was shifting from one topic to another. His audience lost interest and felt disoriented. The presenter was not confident at all. His face showed clearly that he is afraid of presenting. The presenter s voice was not clear, and audible. He had s i g n i fi c a n t p r o b l e m s w i t h intonation and did not pause or speak slowly when it was necessary.

3 The presenter's language was advanced. He used a variety of words that were related to his topic. His grammar was perfect a n d d i d n o t c o m m i t a n y grammatical mistakes. The presenter used arguments, examples, facts, and analogies to explain his content. T h e p r e s e n t e r c l o s e d h i s presentation perfectly and strongly. His closing was catchy, witty and intelligent. In his closing he concluded, summarized, and contemplated on his topic. The presenter time-managed his presentation successfully. The presenter s language was fair. He used a reasonable variation of relevant words. His grammar was fairly good. 4 B: Content and design of the presentation (40%) (for group presentation 30%) The presentation has a welldesigned, engaging, eye-catching title slide. The presentation has listed the learning outcomes clearly. T h e p r e s e n t a t i o n i s comprehensive, cohesive, and well-structured, and has a logical flow. The presentation s content is free from grammar and spelling mistakes. The slides are well-designed, using suitable colors for the topic. The font is clear and the bullet points are well created. The presentation slides had no more than words in a slide. There was no cramming up of content in a single slide. The presentation has navigation slides. And they were necessary to be included. The presentation included tables, figures, images, and charts. There were relevant and of high quality. They were not complicated nor full of details. The presentation has a summary/ conclusion slide that perfectly served its purpose. The Presentation is authentic and original. The presentation used references. The presentation has a a fairly well-designed title page. The presentation has listed the learning outcomes, although some of them were ambiguous. The presentation is detailed and well-structured although it lacks some of its logical flow. The presentation s content had occasionally some grammar and spelling mistakes. The slides are well-designed although it could be improved by changing some of the colors or increasing the font. Some of the bullet points were badly created. The presentation slides had more than 50 words although it was still reasonable and did not cram up content in one slide. The presentation had navigation slides although they were missed at points. The presentation included tables, figures, images, and charts. Some of them were irrelevant and of low-quality. Some of them were detailed and complicated. T h e p r e s e n t a t i o n h a s a c o n c l u s i o n / s u m m a r y s l i d e although it did not, to an extent, fully summarized the The presentation is authentic and original although no referencing was available.
