FILLMORE USD VISION Fillmore Unified School District provides a culture of high expectations where every student achieves future success. FILLMORE USD STRATEGIC GOALS 1. Improve student achievement by raising the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom, increasing attendance & graduation rates, decreasing discipline, and closing the achievement gap. 2. Ensure all English Learners have access to high quality English Language Development and access to high quality instruction in the core curriculum. 3. 17 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - STEERING COMMITTEE Steering Committee Objective Evaluate, establish, and prioritize the needs across the District. Develop consensus for a long-range plan recommendation. Present recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

18 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - STEERING COMMITTEE Committee Structure Comprised of approximately 30 plus members. Includes parents, administration & staff, business & community members Reflects the geographic and demographic diversity of the district.

19 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - STEERING COMMITTEE GOAL To involve Community members of Fillmore including all four corners of the District to evaluate the need for, and prioritize the scope of a 10 year... LONG-RANGE FACILITY MASTER PLAN

20 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - STEERING COMMITTEE Charge Through this process, the Committee will develop a long-range facilities master plan recommendation that: Considers the educational needs of students. Provides a solution for the facility, completion of educational facility standards, environmental trends, and existing facility needs. Insures support for a quality education for all students. Reflects community values and perception of needs. Includes a projection through 2026 for facility needs and modernizations, security modifications, technology infrastructure improvements, and other associated needs. Develop a capital plan that includes state, federal, local funding opportunities that is fiscally sound.
