1 Programme Name Programme Description Trade Diploma in Sports Science The Trade Diploma in Sports Science aims to provide students with the following: Develop skills and knowledge in the various types of Sports played locally, regionally and internationally. Design, implement and evaluate fitness programmes to meet the needs of individual sports and athlete cohorts. Develop fundamental knowledge of Sports Administration and Organisation of Sports Events. Access, interpret and analyse the evolution of national and international health awareness programs in the context sports participation and work-life balance for our contemporary Fijian Society. Develop and demonstrate written and oral communication skills appropriate for a range of sports events and forums. Furthermore this unit aims to enable students to gain confidence and skills in using computers to develop their ability to make informed decisions in regards to computers, computer-based information technology and the place of computers in society.
