3 DEAR APPLICANT YOU ARE APPLYING FOR THE THREE-YEAR PROGRAM OF KAOSPILOTS SWITZERLAND! THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO APPLY TO OUR SCHOOL. LET US TRY TO GUESS WHO YOU ARE: You are a young woman or man who wants to unfold who you truly are. You want to learn. You want to develop your skills, and your potential. You are curious and seek new challenges and experiences. Maybe you have studied at a university, travelled around the world, started your own business or worked in different fields? Now you are considering spending three years of your life at a school located in Switzerland together with other highly motivated people, who want to make a difference through transformation with collaboration and personal development. The First Step Fill out the application. We are looking for your potential and through answering the questions on the following pages this will hopefully show. Before answering we want to give you a few, but important advices. Be yourself! Do not waste your time trying to be what you think we want you to be. This is step no. 1. The second step The application process to all Kaospilot schools involves a workshop for a selected number of candidates and for our school in Switzerland the assessment workshop in Bern will take place on Wednesday and Thursday April 25 & 26th, 2018 (both full days), so you need to arrive the day before and may want to leave on the Friday again. During the workshop you will learn more about the school, and about yourself. After the workshop, you might be admitted to the threeyear program. You will be further informed during the workshop. This application is your chance to be invited to the workshop. You will be informed about your participation in the assessment workshop latest by Friday, March 30th, The cost of attending the workshop is Swiss Francs. This fee covers food and materials during the 2 days. Southern Scholarship If you need to apply for a Southern Scholarship, please fill out the additional application form for this from our website. And hand in both this application and the Southern Scholarship application form at the same time. We look forward to hearing from you and wish you good luck! The completed application has to be maximum 4 A4 pages + max a 2 A4 pages report to describe the working process of your creative assignment. Your final application product will then be maximum 6 pages + the creative assignment which is delivered in whatever format you decide (see description of creative assignment). What are your talents and strengths that you will contribute to Team SUI 7? Five years after graduating from the Kaospilots Team SUI 7 what will you be doing? How would you describe your willingness to learn new things and being outside of your comfort zone? How self-disciplined are you to reach a goal or to manifest a dream? 4

5 2. DNA Who are YOU WHAT are YOUR interests? PLEASE MAKE A 3-5 MINUTE L ONG Video responding to 3 OF THESE questions: Name a brand, an organization or a private business that you find interesting. Why? When was the last time you stood up for something that you believed in? What was your motivation? How did it turn out? What issues in the world global or local occupies you? If you were a mad scientist what would you invent? When was your belief system last challenged? Please describe... What pattern in yourself do you want to change? How do you want to tackle this? You can use your smart phone for this video. Make sure that the audio quality is good. Please upload the video to the web and send us the link with your application. 3. CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT What do YOU dream of? KAOSPILOTS DENMARK AND SWITZERLAND Please read our 2 websites to learn more about our 2 schools. We run the same program and cooperate closely, however there are some local adaptations. One of our specialities and strengths is the Council Guide Training, a personal development training offering ancient Earth Wisdom on sustainable balance, strength and tribal life in our school in Bern. Here you learn how to make decisions as a circle where every voice matters. The school in Aarhus has been running for more than 25 years now, we in Switzerland have launched the school in Tell us about and explain your future life and or your (professional) dream. This could be a project or a new business that you would like to manifest, or it could be a working position that you would like to occupy in the future. To explain YOUR dream YOU might ANSWER one or more of the FOLLOWING questions: If YOU are dreaming of ESTAblishing a business or PROJECT: Why do you see a need for this project or business now, and in the future? How will this business or project influence the society and what value will it create? Who do you see being involved in it? And what do you see your role to be in this adventure? How will the business or project grow? How do you see that the Kaospilot program could support you to fulfill this dream?. 5

6 HOW TO PRESENT THE CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT Please be creative in choosing a format and presenting your new business, project or working position. SURPRISE US REPORT ON CREATIVE Assignment Together with your presentation, whatever form you choose, we ask you to make a written report (max 2 pages A4) that explains and describes your working process whilst executing the assignment. Examples of questions this report might answer are: Do you want to have a conversation with us on what is special about our school? Send us an to fly@kaospilots.ch so we can find time for a skype or a physical meeting in our school in Bern or in our external classroom in Cape Town, South Africa. We trust that you will sense which school and which environment, city and country is the perfect place for you. PS: yes, you can apply for both schools at the same time.
