Date Writing Prompt #1 Describe your favorite day. What did you do? Where did you go? Who did you spend the day with? Remember to write as much as you can as well as you can.

Date Writing Prompt #2 What is your favorite book? What is it about? Who are the characters? What is the setting? What happens in the beginning, middle, and end of the story? Why do you like this book so much?

Date Writing Prompt #3 What is your favorite part of a school day? Is it math? Writing workshop? Catch up time? Describe your favorite part of a school day, what you do during that time, and why you like it so much.

Extra Credit Homework: In your daily life, I know you do lots of math, reading and writing. Use this paper to let me know what you did that you weren t able to record on your reading logs or write about in your writing prompts. For example, you may have written a letter or some thank you notes. You may have read directions and learned how to play a new game. You may have figured out how many plates you can fit into your dishwasher. The possibilities are endless. I am interested in knowing how you are using what you are learning in school in your daily life.
