2 ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for free training, you must: Have lived in the UK for 3 years or more Be 19 years or older If you do not fulfil the above criteria, you can pay for the training at a cost of 7.50 per hour. WHY do people volunteer? WHO is allowed to volunteer? HOW do you go about finding the right opportunity for you? This is an informal session for anyone interested in volunteering whether you are out of work, just left college, a parent with time on your hands, recently retired or you want to be part of a worthwhile cause. There is something for everyone!! Personal & Life Skills Fire Marshal Training (Course 3 hours x 1 week) at AVELEY Day: Thu Date: 18th Jul Time: 10am - 1pm Code: OUTA4A01 To provide delegates with a basic knowledge of fire safety, what to do if a fire breaks out in their building, the use of fire extinguishers and the role of the Fire Marshal. CIEH Level 2 In Food Safety (Course 7.5 hours x 1 week) at TACC FOR MEMBERS OF VOLUNTARY OR COMMUNITY GROUPS ONLY Day: Fri Date: 7th Jun Time: 9.30am - 5pm Code: NLA5D06 A DEPOSIT OF IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF BOOKING OF WHICH IS REFUNDABLE. Photo ID is required at the start of the training An essential course for anyone working with or handling food. This is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health accreditation which covers legislation, food safety, hygiene hazards, temperature control, food handling, food storage and much more.
