2 INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO VYANKATESH TRANSFORMERS, HINGNA MIDC, NAGPUR The department of Electronics Design Technology, Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur organized an Industrial visit to Vyankatesh Transformers Pvt.Ltd., Hingna(MIDC) on 25th of July 2015 for fifth semester(third year) B.E Electronics Design Technology students. The visit was organized with the prior permission and guidance of HOD of EDT Department Prof. (Mrs.) R.R. Harkare along with the staff members and students of B.E, EDT.

3 Total 32 students of fifth semester, B.E. (EDT) along with faculty members have joined this industrial trip. It was a good experience to visit the manufacturing unit which has provided exposure to students of third year. The students were benefited in terms of the technical details provided by the company on an important part of Product manufacturing by Company. The visit covered the following details:- 1. Product Lifecycle [Product concept, Design, Engineering/Development, Agile Methodology, Maintenance & support, Professional service and industrial Design & Engineering ] 2. Testing of the product. 3. Different areas for which Industries works. [Product Knowledge] 4. Main focus was on manufacturing electronic products. 5. Core concepts related with electronic management of machines to lessen the errors and improve efficiency.

4 Shri Ramdeobaba College Of Engineering And Management OASIS-THE ED CELL Department of Electronic Design Technology Guest Lecture Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Electronics Design Technology Department arranged a guest lecture on Entrepreneurship Development in Core electronics field on 24 th July 2015 for its students. The lecture was conducted by Mr. Arun Aggarwal owner of Supreme Induction, alumni of RCOEM, Nagpur. Supreme Induction - Pioneer in Induction Billet Heater is top Manufacturer, Exporter, and Supplier of a wide range of Induction Heating Solutions, Induction Billet Heaters, Induction Bar Heaters, Induction Billet Heaters With Coil Shuttle, Compact Induction Heaters, Billet Feeders, Bar Feeders, Warm Forging Heaters, Induction Coil Assembly, Induction Heating Equipments, Special Purpose Application etc.. Students from 2 nd, 3 rd and 4 th Year of EDT attended the lecture. They raised their queries and Mr. Arun Aggarwal solved them with equal zeal. He emphasized on the importance of thinking in terms of setting up an industry and following the path accordingly. The core company has lot of scope and the students were advised to develop the market for Design based industries. He discussed about entrepreneurial approach towards earning money.

5 Date: 31 th Aug 2015 DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND ENTREPRENUERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL PRESENTS GUEST LECTURE ON UNDERSTANDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP Oasis-The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (RCOEM),Nagpur had organized a guest lecture On UNDERSTANDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP on 28 th Aug 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for Mechanical students. The guest lecture centralizes on the basic idea of Entrepreneurship so as to promote entrepreneurship culture among students. The lecture got overwhelmed response with a participation of almost 85 students. The lecture was inaugurated by Prof. M.R.Jain Chief Co-Ordinator of OASIS- The ED Cell, Prof. Nitin Gudadhe. Mr. Prof. M.R.Jain gave students the mantra of dreaming big. He said that hard work and sincerity cannot be replaced so one must strive towards putting in their best. Mr. M.R. Jain addressed the gathering and inspired the students that will power and desire to achieve is the key to be successful. Self motivation is best way to reach to newer heights. Moreover he also motivated student to desire for big things in life by sharing his experience and success key. Furthermore Prof. M.R Jain had given his encouraging lecture to motivate the students so as to how they would become a successful entrepreneur.
