BBC GCSE Bitesize Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde BBC GCSE Bitesize Blood Brothers BBC GCSE Bitesize Romeo and Juliet App SwipeSpeare access to William Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet (free for part access and a small charge for full access). My child is struggling what can I do? Guide them to re-visit learning in the lesson exercise books. If they have access to the internet or one of the recommended revision guides, guide them to read over notes and test themselves. Alternatively, you can sit with them and test them on their learning or encourage them to make revision cards or mind-maps to help aid their learning. If your child is really needing help, ask them to speak to their teacher for further support. My child loves this subject what else can they do? Encourage your child to read further into the context of the key texts which will give them a deeper understanding of the narrative/plays. To aid with their English Language revision, students can develop their thinking around connotations of words. The English team recommend going to see/do:- Joining the Learning Resource Centre on Victoria Avenue East Museum of Liverpool understanding Liverpool s history to help with the context of Blood Brothers Join us on the Blood Brothers school trip to The Lowry in November contact Mrs McLean for more details
