10 Why Burnaston? Burnaston is a village in Derbyshire, 7 miles south of the city of Derby On a spider diagram jot the reasons why Toyota would have wanted to locate near Derby as I pan out from the factory. Why Derby?

13 Stakeholders: what are these? The Burnaston factory polarised local opinion. Many people were extremely grateful that Toyota would bring jobs to a region that had suffered with unemployment. Others were angered by the use of a large greenfield site. NIMBYs?

19 Positive Multiplier Effect The multiplier effect shows how one factory can have a large effect on the area around it. The multiplier effect can be either positive or negative. It can increase the opportunities of an area or can lead to decrease in opportunities.
