Principal, Sherman, TX We have been pleased with TerraNova 3, the prompt online and hard-copy results, and especially the great variety of results available to us as educators/parents. Academic Dean, North Cobb Christian School, Kennesaw, GA Initially, our school was not enthralled about changing from the Stanford series to something else. Students are challenged to apply higher-order thinking skills, demonstrated through their knowledge and understanding of grade-level objectives, subskills, and competencies. TN3 is a rigorous assessment that evaluates student learning based on current curriculum and instructional strategies. On average, 80% of the items in Reading, Language, and Math begin with Tier 3 (Analyze). Approximately 30% or more of those items fall within Tiers 4 6 (Generate, Synthesize, and Evaluate). Current norms help develop a good scope and sequence and prepare opportunities for student growth throughout our program. Administrator, North Carolina 12

Precoded barcode labels save valuable time for teachers and administrators, who would otherwise need to double-check the demographic data for each student. Precoding is an optional service that provides your school with student labels for test booklets and answer sheets that are precoded with student identification data such as name, class, birth date, test level, school/campus, and student ID number. My teachers have said over and over again, Thank you, thank you for not making us bubble in all of the student demographic data. What I so appreciate about ACSI s work with CTB/McGraw-Hill in this testing area are the precoded barcode labels. Administrator, Christian Academy of Madison, Madison, IN Additional Benefits Reduced test administration time for teachers and administrators No more bubbling Elimination of errors in data entry that could cost your school reprinting fees Simplification of the six-digit entry of student ID numbers for longitudinal tracking (Student ID numbers will allow you to observe individual student growth from year to year in ACSI Data Online.)
