1 EVENT DETAILS: Event : TECHNOVISION 2015 Convener : Ms. Arti Bajaj Date : 26 th September, 2015 Day : Saturday Venue : MCA lab, MBA lab, BBA lab, Auditorium (PG Block) Timing : 09:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs No. of Institutes : 15 No. of Participants : 490 OBJECTIVES: To create awareness amongst Students of IT and Management about the practical exposure of the latest trends in technology sector. To search the talent among the students and to bring the various educational facets of the students to the surface To enable students to brush-up their technical skills.

2 Inaugural Ceremony Inaugural Ceremony for TECHNOVISION-2015 TECHNOVISION-2015 aimed to provide a platform to the students to prove their technical competence and talent. TECHNOVISION was a veritable fest where students competed amongst themselves to prove their capabilities. The fest was held this year with a plethora of technical events like Websites Designing, IT Quiz, Software Programming, Technical Paper Presentation, Internet Surfing, Extempore and Debugging competition etc. The nature of genius is to be able to grasp the knowledge from the crudest of sources that come beyond intuition. Keeping the trend in continuation, TECNIA announced TECHNOVISION at college premises which was an assortment of various technological activities to honor the students interests, competencies and technical skills. Proceedings of TECHNOVISION-2015: The Inaugural function was presided over by Dr. A.K.Rathore, Director of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies. The summary of the TECHNOVISION Fest was given by Ms. Arti Bajaj, convener of the program. Dr. A.K. Rathore, Director of TIAS in his speech emphasized on upgrading students to be part of corporate world. Mr. Joginder Singh, Director of Singh Study Circle further encouraged students for their future. Dr. Rajesh Bajaj, Chief Convener, TIAS interact with the students and wish them Good luck for their winning events. Mr. M.N. Jha, Dean Academics, TIAS motivates the students. 4 Dr. Vishal Khatri (HOD, MCA) addressing on TECHNOVISION-2015 Inaugural speech by MCA Students Following were the Events organized in TECHNOVISION-2015:- WEBSCAPE (Website Design) Webscape is a platform where students showcase their web skills and create attractive and informative sites using latest tools and technologies like dot net, java, PHP, HTML, frontpage etc under supervision of Dr. Vishal Khatri. TECH MASTERS (IT Quiz) Brace thyself with the right knowledge, spirit, enthusiasm and attentiveness to play IT quiz, where you lock horns with other warriors from different colleges to emerge victorious. Information is power and power alone will determine who stand and who falls under supervision of Mr. Shivender Kumar. RAPID CODERZZZ (Software Programming) Programming is similar to a game of golf. The point is not getting the ball in the hole but how many strokes it takes thus sorting out complicated ideas into little steps. And that's the real essence of programming under supervision of Ms. Rashmi Ishrawat. TECH SCRIPT (Technical Paper Presentation) Technical paper presentation provides a platform to inculcate in the students a culture of re-search, thinking and presenting ideas & technology in a professional manner under supervision of Dr. Vijay Singhal. GAMER S LOUNGE (LAN Gaming) Gamers' Lounge is fight to win, fight to survive and come out with the victory. Spontaneity, intellect, Exuberance and passion are the key to win. 5 GOOGLE S DANCE (Internet Searching Competition) those who have the ability can match their speed with Google. Search the content on the given topic and make PowerPoint presentation on the spot. It s an internet searching competition where speed and relevance of result matter under supervision of Ms. Arti Bajaj. BUG-FINDER (Debugging) everyone knows that debugging is twice as hard as writing a program in the first place. So if you are as clever as you can be when you write it, how will you ever debug it? It contains MCQ s based on C, C++ and Java under the supervision of Mr. Mohit Tiwari. GUESS WHO I AM (Code identification): A set of code given on the spot to check their competitive skills. Questions related to existing code, a rapid fire round, under the supervision of Ms. Alka Batra e-poster DESIGN(Multimedia Application): If you think that you have the ability to play with different software s like Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver then come and be the part of event and showcase your talent on the spot. Under the supervision of Dr. Jitender Rai, MINUTE TO WIN IT (Extempore): A minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection. Here candidate will be given a topic to speak on the spot and present it under the supervision of Mr. Rahul Tripathi.
