May use the helping words given for each pictures to help them sequence their story. Use grammar, punctuation and vocabulary appropriately.

Identify key messages, main ideas and details in a variety of written texts. Show understanding; make judgment and evaluation by reading and/or viewing closely critically. Demonstrate the correct use of grammar, spelling and punctuation, and the appropriate use of vocabulary in given contexts.

33 P3 Mother Tongue ML, CL and TL Paper 3 (Listening Comprehension) MCQ Pupils are required to listen to a range of texts for a sustained period of time. Part 1: Listen and match teacher s reading to the correct pictures. Part 2: Demonstrate understanding the content of a variety of spoken texts. Infer and draw conclusions by listening critically.

34 P3 Mother Tongue MT Paper 4 (ICT-enabled Oral examination) Reading aloud Students are required to read aloud, pronounce and articulate words clearly and read fluently with appropriate expression and rhythm in order to convey the information, ideas and feelings in a passage. Video conversation Students are required to converse effectively with grammatical accuracy based on a video clip. Students may elaborate by giving examples, share their opinions, thoughts and personal experience.

35 Mother Tongue Parental Support Engage your child with a host of interesting and relevant digital multimedia resources, including games that can be found in the TINTA website. 学乐 for CL pupils (Revision of Chinese characters and words) (Use McOnline for revision) (Assigned tasks and already completed exercises will be made available throughout the year.) (Develops and enhances knowledge and skills in the Tamil Language with the digital interactive resources in the Sangamam) Use Word games such as Pintar Peribahasa (idiom) and Pintar Bahasa app which can be downloaded into your android handphone and tablet to reinforce his/her learning of the language in an enjoyable manner.
