9 Learning to Print Printing is the first important step to becoming a good writer. We will work on forming our letters and numbers the proper way. We always start at the top left when writing our letters and we never trace over a line, we lift our pencils up! Here is the way the letters and numbers should be written. Please help your child learn to make each letter and number using the proper steps. The line with the 1 comes first, 2 next and so on. Also, please pay attention to the direction of the arrow and pencil grip. Together we will have some wonderful printers and writers!
