Through stories moral values of friendship, victory of good over evil are imbibed. Students imagination, vocabulary will be enhanced. Puppets, masks teacher presenter The teacher will start the topic with help of props like puppets, masks and narrate the story in a very dramatic way in order the entertain the students. She will allso questions to the students to catch their attention. With the help of the story teacher will try to inculcate moral values among the students. 2 DETAILED PLANNER OF ENGLISH (June-July) CLASS LKG CYCLE 3RD INSTRUCTIONAL PEDAGOGY Minutes class period Alphabets F, E, V (print caps) Opposites: (inside/outside, full/empty, Sweet/sour, happy/sad). Action words: (clap, swim, give, take, pull) Rhymes: I am an apple. Good Food. Skills: Listening, writing and speaking skills, comparison, vocabulary, recitation with actions. Children will be able to identify the opposites and action words. They will be able to use the words in everyday English. Developing rhythmic sense and body actions. Developing motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Teacher presents flash card for opposites and action words. Charts, crayons, worksheets, and notebook. For teaching opposites various prompting activities will be followed e.g. inside/outside. The teacher will perform actions in the class for inside/outside like she will take students outside the class and will get them back inside the class. Follow up: Teacher will ask the students to take their tiffin box outside the bag and then keep it in their bags. Similar methodology will be followed for opposites. For teaching action words various prompting activities will be followed. Teacher will tell the students to hop on the given shapes and children will hop. Similar methodology will be followed for teaching action words. Prompting activity: Teacher will ask the students to dip the finger in the poster colour and draw different alphabets on the chart paper or newspaper.
