2 A Correlation of Realityworks Healthy Choices Sex Education Curricula to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Practice and English Language Arts INTRODUCTION This document demonstrates how the Healthy Choices Sex Education curricula used with their respective simulators meet the objectives of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Practice and English Language Arts as listed in this document. Correlations are cited by unit and lesson. The Healthy Choices Sex Education curricula are standards-based programs designed to be used with, and to enhance the educational value of, the RealCare products they accompany. Written for teachers of middle and high school level students as well as post high school participants, the curricula contain teacher guides with detailed active learning lesson plans, slide presentations, and student materials.
