2 Getting Started What If? Ever since you were a little kid, you have dreamed of being a doctor. You imagine yourself helping others and saving lives. You tell everyone about your dream your father even sets up meetings for you to talk with real doctors. As you get older, you realize that science and biology are not your best subjects, and you have developed an interest in becoming a teacher. However, it has always been your goal to become a doctor. You are not sure if you should give that up since you have invested so much time learning about the profession. Make notes about how this would affect you. What would you do? How would you know which career to pursue? Is it OK to change your goals in life?
