1 Disability Equality Scheme Questionnaire for Students Many people are unaware that they may be protected from unfair (and unlawful) treatment under the Disability Discrimination Act. Please consider the first 3 questions carefully to see if this applies to you. Moving on to the remaining questions, do take this opportunity to tell us what you think could be improved and what MMU is doing well. We want to get the views from as many different students as possible to help develop and measure progress against the university s new Disability Equality Scheme and as an added incentive we are offering you the chance to earn yourself a 50 WHSmith Giftcard simply by completing this survey! The winner will be selected from entries received by 2 October 2006 and will be notified using contact details provided on page 5. (Please note contact details can be anonymised for those who do not wish to be identified). 2 Comments 1 Do you consider yourself to be disabled as defined under the Disability Discrimination Act? By long-standing we mean anything that has lasted at least 12 months?
