The main objective of CMP is to promote the all round harmonious development of the child in a natural and stress free way. Proper ambience conducive environment and real life experiences at our school help to reinforce values discipline and ethics in our younger generations. Our committed teachers provide a stimulating environment to make children learn with joy and enthusiasm. arious activities are organized to make them sensitive, responsible and confident. Life skills are nurtured to develop their self esteem and prepare them to face the challenges in life ahead. This newsletter shares the joy of learning, the enthusiasm, talents, creativity and achievements of our children. The activities devised by teachers help a lot in the process of learning. When their activities are endorsed they become memorable for the learners. This News Letter gives us glimpses of activities executed by the students or for the students in the idyalaya. Adequate weightage has also been given to the activities, viz. medical check up, excursion, games & sports, cub bulbul activities, celebrations of various days etc. to achieve the objectives of CMP. 3 Common Minimum Programme We believe in learning by doing and playing. Learning is not a burden for our children. We hear we forget, We see we remember, We do we learn. This is made possible through our activity & resource room. We aim at the authenticated learning by doing and hence our activity room is equipped with a lot of educational audio-visual teaching learning material like - Children s film CD s, DD s, LCD Projector, DD Player, Television, Charts, Maps, Models, and other teaching-aids which make the teaching-learning process more effective and enjoyable. Educational films are shown to the children twice in a month under common minimum programme. Children are given ample opportunities to excel & come to the forefront and perform well through various competitions. The preparation of the class magazines give vent to their creative urge. School Readiness Programme for class I enables the tiny tots come to school without any hesitation and make learning a life long enjoyable experience. WELCOME OF STUDENTS In order to promote congenial & cordial relationship between parents and teachers, the welcome programme was organized for students and parents of class I. It helped the parents to be familiar with the school system and curriculum. In teacher-parent interaction many useful parenting tips were given. Teachers & Parents worked hand in hand to help the children to remain motivated and focused throughout the session. PARENTS - TEACHER MEETING Significant development of children can be achieved only by the continuous co operation of parents and teachers. Hence formal or informal PTM is being organized in our idyalaya as an essential part of our activities every month and after each Term in a successful manner. Parents are informed in advance about the schedule. In our idyalaya parents visit the school and interact with the teachers on first Saturday of every month. We ensure, adhere and make it a point that every parent visit the idyalaya in the stipulated time. Parents are also counseled as per the need. ParentTeacher meet results into Parent Teacher co-operation which is of great help.it has been observed that students whose parents take keen interest in day to day activities of their children and visit the school at regular intervals to meet the subject teachers, have always shown better results. 5 CCA AND OTHER ACTIITIES Special attention is given to develop the skills and talents of the children through CCA activities such as recitations, drawing and painting competitions, solo song, group songs, group dance, skit, story telling, speech, art and craft competitions, rangoli competition, calligraphy etc. which help the children to bud and blossom their talents and groom their personality.
