1 LYNG HALL Sixth Form Prospectus Supporting you to achieve your dreams
2 Lyng Hall Sixth Form The decision to join Lyng Hall Sixth Form means an opportunity to be part of a fast growing and rapidly improving centre with an increasing number of opportunities for its students. These opportunities taken to the full will give our students a firm academic foundation along with the satisfaction of personal progress and achievements. We offer our students an extensive range of choices in the sixth form and pride ourselves on our flexibility and our commitment to ensuring all students receive a personal education plan. We not only offer a large range of subjects and qualifications, but are also able to offer these at different levels for those students who may require longer to complete them. In addition to this, our federating partnership with other schools in the city means that if we are not able to offer you a subject at Lyng Hall we can arrange for you to study this at another school. Lyng Hall Sixth Form also offers an extensive range of enrichment opportunities such as Duke of Edinburgh, Student College and Careers Academy. We also have strong links with both Coventry and Warwick Universities; both of these institutions have provided extra support to students and offer schemes to encourage local students to go to university. In addition to this we provide a comprehensive package to support students when they leave the sixth form, offering advice & guidance regarding employment, further education and apprenticeships. We hope to give you the best possible experience of sixth form and hope that you will find it an enjoyable and stimulating experience. We expect you to make a commitment to the courses that you have chosen to study and in return we will guarantee you the support you require to achieve your full potential.
