Now, we have all the data to give them an objective sense of where they are and what they can do to improve. The conversation has changed dramatically. SSC Advisor *Interactions with Intake Survey, Quick Polls, Major Explorer, Journey progress, and Favorited Resources will be shown

13 TECHNOLOGY: Strategic Care 6. 20 TECHNOLOGY: Smart Guidance Academic Planning (For 2 Year Schools) Empower Students to Build Their Academic Plan and Track Progress 20 Course Planner Structured pathways are sourced from degree maps or academic plan templates, and shown as a single list of courses or course electives that will fulfill requirements necessary to earn a degree for a given program. Pathways can also be more flexible, using course group functions, providing more choice but still limiting course selection to a specific pathway. Sequencing and Developmental Requirements Academic planner validates institution sequence requirements and alerts students of planned, scheduled, or registered courses with co- or prerequisite errors. The platform assesses student placement scores and calculates developmental needs, identifying the fastest path to complete developmental course work. Course Scheduling Students can filter through numerous course options, quickly sorting through available, conflicting, and full course times to build a schedule. The platform can auto-generate up to five schedule options based on the student s preferred course times, availability, and/or other classes already scheduled.
