Secure web-based career and college research and planning tool for students, parents, and school counselors Student and Parent access through Family Connection Family Connection is specific to our school Family Connection is linked with Naviance Succeed, a service that is used in School Counseling

Parent access to Family Connection allows parents/guardians to view select information in their child s online portfolio, including Potential colleges of interest Status of college applications (12 th Grade) College Scattergrams (High School) Career Interests Results of certain assessments/surveys Resume, goals, and tasks

8 Getting Started Have your personal registration code available for first time login Go to the Eagle View or Good Hope webpage and click Guidance: then Naviance Family Connection Login

39 Roadtrip Nation Video Archive Students went on 52 roadtrips, interviewed 366 leaders, and created 3552 short videos on struggle, triumph, and self-discovery. Videos are grouped into 48 themes (confidence, risk, opportunity, etc.) and 29 interests (art, engineering, government, film, etc.).

41 Colleges Tab Middle School Students have access to: COLLEGE LOOKUP This tool allows students to find specific colleges. From here the student can view the college profile, which has the same valuable information that you can view in Naviance. COLLEGE SEARCH An advanced search tool that enables students to create searches that focus on college criteria that is important to them, such as costs, campus surroundings, available majors, etc. Students can save searches. COLLEGE MAPS shows students where colleges are located COLLEGE RESOURCES Provides a list of web resources about colleges, financial aid, and other key topics in the college admissions process. ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS Students can find enrichment programs by browsing by letter or selecting a topic (ie: arts, sports, community service, etc.)

Student/parents cannot edit other information on this page (address, phone numbers, etc.). Contact the school with address/phone changes.

51 Resume Students can create a resume of academic, work, and extracurricular experiences and achievements. Students can add to this resume each year.

52 Game Plan Survey (Grades 7 & 8 only) Some students have already entered information in their Game Plan Survey, indicating goals and plans for post-graduation. These may be modified by the student at any time.

53 Journal Students can keep a log of journal entries, which can be shared with counselors if the student wishes. Counselors can also post private comments to the student s Family Connect profile.
