Alternative education opportunities exist at all stages of educational system i.e. both at school as well as at higher education stage in India as well as abroad. The emphasis will be to discuss meaning, scope and genesis of alternative education especially in Indian scenario. The target audience will be BTS student. The lecture will be useful for understanding the difference between tourism, heritage tourism and heritage tourism management. Media audiences have undergone a massive change in the choices they exercise and the way they exercise their choices. Much of this change has to be attributed to the role that technology plays. This session will look at the kind of changes in media audiences, the factors responsible for it and the affect it had on the socio cultural scenario. Law of Contract

Tuesday MCA/BCA Projects Problem Identification Studying the Theory Courses of B.Sc (Physics) Mr M P Mishra and Mr Akshay Kumar Dr. S. Gupta and Dr. S. Lamba SOCIS SOS Project is one of the important components of BCA and MCA. The project course in BCA is of 8 credits and MCA is of 16 credits. A student submits his/her synopsis first which lists basic analysis and design of project problem. Many students find it hard to identify or find a good project problem at MCA and BCA levels. The problem identification should lead to a good project, therefore, must be chosen with care. The purpose of this session is to discuss some of the ways which may be useful for the student in identifying project problems. It is difficult to study B. Sc (Physics) courses in the distance mode. With so much of social malaises around us, with pressure to succeed, so much of competition around one tends to forget values in our upbringing. This session will talk about the need for value education, the need for socialization, how values can be shaped through curriculum, how to be aware of and prevent abuse of ICT by children. This IRC is related to the DTG programme. It will provide an overview to the Diploma in Teaching German Language programme. (4.00 pm -5.00pm) RSD Friday Field Work in Correctional Setting CSWCJS Dr.Sayantani Guin SOSW Field work practicum plays an important role in sharpening the skills and expertise in the professional training. The discussion will cover details of conducting field work in correctional settings. This would include orientation visits to jails, family courts, beggars home,observation homes, rescue homes etc. During concurrent field visits, students are expected to conduct five case work / case studies and ten group work sessions.
