The addition looks like it is part of the house! We had a great experience and love the remodel! Everyone was very professional and provided creative solutions. We look ward to completing phase II in the future. We have worked with them bee and felt confident prior to our initial call that they were the company us. We have used S.J. Janis numerous projects and repairs. Our house is almost 70 years old and they match the quality of the original craftsmanship while updating with new materials and design. We always know they will be creative, honest and provide quality service. We were always impressed at how clean Janis left the job site. Even the subcontractors mentioned what sticklers they are about leaving a clean job site! We've heard nightmares about kitchen remodeling projects lasting months beyond the initial published completion date. Our experience with Janis was completely the opposite! May 15, 2017 There were weekly check ins with the project manager so we always had line of sight into what had been done and what they'd be working on the following week. Also, it was really easy to call or text the project Manager if we had questions or noticed something out of the ordinary. Overall they were all... Nathan was the first person we contacted in this process, and it really was his knowledge of the engineering needed to take down a load bearing wall and his extreme attention to detail that sold us on sj Janis. We felt very cofident that he and his team had the expertise needed our complex and large kitchen remodel. Definitely! We've worked with other contractors in the past and this was far and away the best experience we've had with a contractor and their teams. SJJANIS is very good at following up on concerns or problems after completion of projects. We had one extended delay due to an uneseen structural issue, but they resolved it with high marks! SJ Janis is detailed oriented from start to finish. The company provides extensive upfront construction plans to ensure customer design expectations will be met. I began an indecisive client, trusting their suggestions and ideas which were good, but then wanting to change what I wasn't agreeing with. I grew in confidence because of this project but I am tired. I'm grateful to the people who worked... Because I had a smaller renovation, I don't feel we got the attention we deserved. They provided first class organization from start to finish and I would highly recommend them. We were extremely happy and satisfied with our SJ Janis remodeling project, from the first meeting, through the design phase, demolition, construction, and completion. We would not hesitate to recommend SJ Janis. Their attention to detail, transparency, accurate budgeting, and excellent communication... Over-all, we are extremely happy with our remodeling process and would not hesitate to recommend SJ Janis. The process was easy and smooth and the results were incredible. We would definitely recommend them to others! S.J. Janis did not fall short of expectations at all. S.J. Janis installed a new living room ceiling, recessed lighting, second story plumbing, stone veneer and mantel the fireplace, and crown molding. Our overall experience with S.J. Janis was extremely positive. Every aspect of our project was discussed thoroughly bee work began, so there were... Overall we are very happy with our experience and with the completed project. The people from SJ Janis that worked on our house were all absolutely wonderful. My husband and I love our new kitchen and were very happy with how helpful and patient Nathan and Joe were during the entire design process. They were very instrumental in helping us see all that our home could become! We had quite a few add-ons along the way and Nathan readily facilitated them to accomplish our desires. Contractor was very good to work with and made many extra efts to address concerns, solicit input at critical phases, offer change orders, and generally keep us inmed, satisfied, and safe. There was no question as to who I was going to use this time. Because of the workmanship, communication and the trust I have in them I did the majority of the remodeling while I was out of town, it was very... S.J Janis's crew is wonderful to work with. They are very helpful discussing ideas and placement, and if something you suggest isn't going to work, they don't just say, it won't work, they explain why, and try to work out a solution that works you.
