Poverty is not about income poverty alone, but is a multidimensional phenomenon that includes larger issues of education, health, employment, and opportunities. By employing a strategic roadmap towards sustainability, as well as leveraging our technology, people, and our resources, we can uplift communities and bring about a socioeconomic revolution aimed at the larger objective of nation building. Giving back to the societies should be integrated into every company s strategic plan, and I believe that s the mantra gradually taking root in corporate India. It covered various dimensions of food security availability, accessibility and affordability

3 Volunteers of The Flush Mob organised Awareness Sessions on Health & Sanitation across 5 schools in Delhi NCR icleannagpur conducted a workshop & awareness program regarding cleanliness for students of Dangore Madhyamik vidyalaya, Parsodi, near Mohapa Kalmeshwar and also beautified some corners of school

4 Ekal organised the ' Mera Gaon Swachh Gaon' Campaign in 451 villages across India. The villagers got together to clean their surroundings and pledged their support to the cleanliness mission Volunteers of Genpact organised a story telling workshop for school children in Delhi. Volunteers of Let's Spread Love organised a Food & Stationary Donation drive across Delhi, Pune, Chennai & Bangalore. More than meals were distributed to the underprivileged.

5 Volunteers Speak Everytime I volunteer, I love it more and more. This time during National Volunteering Week 2017, we went to schools and slums, had an amazing sessions on sanitation with the children. I am thankful to CII and The Flush Mob for providing such opportunity. In future also I will be eager to work and volunteer with them. We will surely make India@75 a huge success with all the volunteership. Sachin The Flush Mob Volunteering during the India@75 NVW, I feel we were truly able to create some impact. Seeing those small children, it made me realise how much we still have to grow as a society. Sanitation is one of the major, basic yet neglected issues. As we all have heard the famous Somya Mehrotra Dyal Singh College adage: health is wealth and health can be kept well only if there is proper hygiene and sanitation. Not only this there was this internal peace and happiness I could experience while volunteering with children. They were all so full of life and open to learning.
