1 Calendar of Events September 12, 2018 Marion Chamber of Commerce 'Taste of the Chamber' Business After Hours Marion Chamber Of Commerce 04:30 PM - 06:30 PM CST The Marion Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for a 'Taste of the Chamber' Business After Hours event on Wednesday, September 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Marion Chamber office, 2305 West Main. All former and future members of the Marion Chamber of Commerce are invited to attend. Come see how we can work together to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in our community. The event coincides with Chamber of Commerce Week (September 10-14). Mayor Anthony Rinella has issued a Proclamation that September is Chamber of Commerce Week in the City of Marion. To view the proclamation, click here. The event will include samples from Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver's, Smoothie King, and refreshments from Pepsi, Golden Eagle and RollNUp. Entertainment, include games provided by the National Guard, music by Fast Eddie DJ and much more. There is no charge to attend. The Marion Chamber s membership campaign, which runs through the entire month of September 2018, features a 16-month membership (good through all of 2019) at the annual investment level. 5 September 27, th annual Marion Chamber Golf Scramble Kokopelli Golf Club 1527 Champions Dr Marion, IL :30 AM - 08:00 PM CST Dalus Ben Avi, The Marion Chamber of Commerce will hold its 34th annual Golf Scramble on Thursday, September 27 at Kokopelli Golf Course Registration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Play will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Lunch is not included but Kokos bar will have burgers, hotdogs, and chips available for purchase. Register your four-person teams today! This event has always drawn a big turnout, and team slots will go fast! Individual golfers are $100 and a four-person team is $360. The event includes a "Lucky Umbrella" drawing (for an umbrella filled with lottery tickets), prizes, and more! Registration includes use of the range, green fees, golf cart rental, and a chance at great prizes and more! The drawing for the Million Dollar Hole-in-One shot will take place at 12:45 p.m. Every golfer who has registered by 12:30 p.m. will be entered in the drawing to take the shot.
