With only weeks to go until the show is open, this year's Street of Dreams home builders are busy finalizing all the details. The activity along the Street is exhilarating! Everyone is working diligently to make things happen. Every day the Street takes on a new look. It s my favorite time to be on site. Plans are in place for our Gala Charity Evening on July 8th to benefit Children's Home Society of Washington. All proceeds from this fun-filled evening will go directly to CHS, and we invite you to join us. In early June, you will be able to purchase tickets on-line at This event sells out every year, so don't delay. Our Evening and Cooking Series are finalized and we can t wait to have you participate! Our new partnership with Northwest Home & Garden Magazine will feature seminars related to your home and garden. Our media purchases are finalized, the radio ads are cut, and the Street of Dreams Magazine is growing in size every day. Our new on-line ticketing is in its final testing, and Cathy, Irma, and Trish are in 'overdrive' with all of the little (and big) details. I have always had a passion for home design, and building allows me to use my vision from design to completion. Of all the homes you have built, tell us about your favorite. The Astoria the home we built for the 2003 Seattle Street of Dreams. That home allowed me to take advantage of my vision from start to finish. What is the most exciting thing you have planned for your 2005 Street of Dreams home? We are excited about many things, but one thing that is very special is the 12 foot wide stained glass dome we had commissioned for the rotunda. What do you like best about the Nolan Woods development? The feeling of being in the country, but still being close into Seattle. What are your hobbies? I am an avid Skier, Snowboarder, Wake boarder, Surfer, Golfer and Windsurfer. My wife and four children all enjoy the same hobbies. What was your favorite subject in school? From the list of hobbies you might guess..physical Education. What would your ideal vacation be? Maui is always a great vacation for us! Sun, Surf, Golfing and Windsurfing. Who has been the most influential person of your career? My parents have both been influential in my career. My father is a developer and my mother is an interior decorator. They have given me the vision and knowledge to succeed. What was your first job? I started as a construction laborer when I was in High School What is the first thing you d do if you won the lottery? Give to worthy causes such as Make-A-Wish-Foundation and our church. What virtue do you most admire in people? Honesty and forgiveness. Where did you grow up? Sunriver-Oregon, Hamilton-Montana and Bothell-Washington. What do you do to relax? Enjoy my hobbies with my family on vacation. How did you meet your wife? My wife and I met in High School. We started dating when we were 16 years old. Tell us a little bit about your family. My Wife K.K. and I are blessed with four children. Madison (9), Rowan (6), Nolan (5) and Isabella (2). My wife and kids come first in my life. I enjoy spending as much time as possible together with my family. What is your favorite joke? Why did Tigger stick his head in the toilet? Answer: To look for Pooh. (This joke was provided by my 6-year old son Nolan). What three words would most describe who you are? God, Family, Fun
