They were not aware that there was a problem with the countertops. The manufacturer of the countertops apparently made them incorrectly. To remedy the situation we were offered granite... Run as fast as you can from this company! First of all, don't believe anything the salesman tells you. According to the salesman, our job was supposed to be done by the first week of November. I think they did a really great job, it was a little pricey. Although I did not get exactly what I was hoping in regards to timing or finished product, the basement looks much better. I was able to speak with a high level of the company to get the project over the finish line. The installation team was courteous and professional. They workers were very professional and the quality of the work was excellent. Outstanding work. We were very happy with the installation, the work, and the materials but it is very expensive. Fairfax, VA Aug 17, 2017 I was most impressed with the installer and his craftsmanship and professionalism. His name was Sergey. He and his crew were absolutely amazing. The guys that came to work on it were fantastic. They were very neat and clean and they worked very timely and diligently. I am very satisfied with the project Owens Corning Basement Finishing System seems like a good system although over priced, I would not recommend to do the work. If they had correctly crossed all their T's and dotted all their I's and made sure that my basement was sealed from the windows, this could have been a great experience. I would not have minded the additional amount of money to finish my basement. Untunately, this Company fails to response back... They did an excellent job! The basement is beautiful and we use it a lot. They turned a dead space into a space we use often. Overhaul the kitchen, cabinets and granite. We provided the appliances and did the flooring. The cabinet material is not as good as we made believe by the sales people. Some came back with defects and different mixture of wood. Door hinges are not as durable. Carlisle, PA Feb 13, 2017 I thought that the installer Jose was amazing! He worked very long hours, worked very hard, very pleasant, very committed to doing high-quality work. His supervisor, Bill was equally supportive. I really appreciate that. The first salesperson was totally off, then the second salesperson was more helpful... The men were professional and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Exceptional quality and great workmanship The Owens Corning team was very responsive, communicated daily, responded to my requests, secured my property/work area at the end of each day and completed my project on time/on schedule as agreed. Overall I am satisfied with the final product. There were numerous punch list items that had to be re-accomplished... I am enjoying my Owens Corning Basement, it's nice. My husband and I were very pleased with the work that they did in a timely fashion. We loved working with Wallace, Bill, Jose and Rueben. We played to use them in the future a sunroom. I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Owens Corning Basement Finishing System. I was impressed with the design and quality of the materials and look ward to enjoying a very, fine finished basement. I was very satisfied with the installers, and eman. They were very professional.
