3 << < Reports on Activitie s >> 1) BPS Open Days 8 & 9 May 2015, BPS Our heartfelt thanks to BPS Studentt Union who arranged our Booth to be set at the centre of the Lobby. Guests were able to meet us when they came in through t the Main Entrance. It was nice meeting our teachers, friends, schoolmates, members and their families. The new souvenirs, specially designed for celebrating the School 125 th Anniversa ry, were another eye-catching point. Wong Tsz Shan (Left1), 1978 graduate, donated herr pottery pieces and sold them during the Open Days to raise fundd for the school. A total of $5790 was raised and given to the school for supporting student activities. Tsz T Shan started learning pottery in the early 90s and it became herr favourite hobby since s then. In recent years, she participated in tea ware competiti on several times, all organized by the tea ware museum. Her works were short listed and displayed inn the exhibition. In the 2013 tea ware competition, her work was awarded prize of excellence. Our heartfelt thanks to Tsz Shan! P3 of

4 2) BOGA 2015 AGM 6 Jun 2015, BPS The 2015 AGM started at 6:45pm and went through all a agendaa items smoothly. members attended. The following two items were unanimously endorsed: 32 A. Full Financial Statement For cost/manpower saving purpose, the full financial statement will not be attached to the Annuall Report but it will be uploaded in the website after the AGM and will be made available to members upon request. r B. BOGA Newsletter For environmental protection, electronic newsletter r shall be the major means for distribution of newsletter to members. One-year phase p out t period will be given during which notification to be made known in each issue off the newsletter until June Printed version would be arranged only upon request initiated by members themselves thereafter. 5 3) BPS Home-coming Day 6 Jun 2015, BPS Old girls of different years came back and joined the campuss tour, chatting and meeting teachers. The School Hall was filled with laughter and excitement when meeting with teachers and schoolmates of long time ago. We had the BOGA booth to greet old and new members and to sell the souvenirs. 6 4) Farewell Dinner to Mr. CHAN Tsze-ying Mr Chan, the former principal, retired from BPS by end e of August To show our appreciation to Mr. Chan s tremendous support to t many of BOGA activities in the past 3 years, Ex-com had a dinner to bid him a fond farewell and wished him all the best. 5) BPS 125thh Anniversary Celebrations To celebrate BPS 125th Anniversary, BOGA & BOGF co-organized two major fund- as raising events in September 2015 too continue to groom our BPSS students, as well to reunite the old girls from near to far to witness the t remarkable growth of our alma mater. A. 125 th Anniversary Dinnerr 19 Sep 2015, Maxim s Palace Restaurant, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Old girls and friends of more than 690 heads participated including guests like, Dr. Gabriel Leung, GBS (son off Mrs Jennie Leung, former music teacher), Mr. Wong Yan Lung, SC, JP and his father (the well-known Uncle of Ice-cream), Principal Mrs. Ng, former principals, former and current teachers, old girls graduated from 1958 to 2009, current students and friends to share remembra ance with the BPS family! 8 6) BOGA Mentorship Programme Promotion 5 Oct 2015, BPS Hall The Mentorship Programme Promotion was presented by Joyce chan, Judith Yuen and Connie Chiu. Participation was encouraging this year withh a record high of 4 mentees m application received. The Programme will be launched on 21 Nov 2015 at the school hall.
