Academics DWIGHT has been going to school for a total of 14 years, including primary school which he graduated in DWIGHT spent the following year at a Danish boarding school before attending high school, which he finished in DWIGHT then took a big leap and moved to a larger city, got a job and travelled for two years. He enrolled at university and is currently studying for his Bachelor s degree in Law. He tells us: I ve been studying for a while now and I find my education very interesting and inspiring. There s a good social environment in our class and everybody is making an effort. It s a study which claims a lot of your time and thoughts, but it s worth it. DWIGHT s goal is to get a Master s degree in Law and consideres specializing his knowledge within the field of human rights. His former jobs include being a waiter and bartender. He has also worked as a volunteer and has arranged events for kids and teenagers since he was 16 years old. Today he is still a part of the same community where he does volunteer work once a week. DWIGHT s native language is Danish and he also speaks English and German. He has not served in the military. My goal is to study for a Master s degree in Law.

Describe your weak sides: Punctuality which isn t the most important factor for me. Even though it s getting a lot better there s still room for some improvement. What is your marital status? Single.

Describe your strong sides: I am good at making connections with and between people. In some ways I ve got a sixths sense about peoples needs and thoughts. Do you have any children? No. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 7 hours. Do you eat healthy? I try. Do you smoke? Sometimes. Do you ride a bicycle? Often. I ve played soccer as a child and some volleyball in my midteenage years. Which other types of sports are you interested in? I m not really interested in sports but I like some motorsport and I do watch some national teams whenever the Danish teams are up for it. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: I ve always played music and I have an old motorcycle as well which to a certain extend could be characterized as a hobby. List which musical instruments you play or have played: I ve played classic guitar and later electric guitar. Altogether for 10 years now. I still use it from time to time, like when I teach young people where I volunteer and when I play gigs with my friends. Which countries have you visited: USA, Canada, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, England, Monaco. Describe the best holiday you have had: I went on a road trip for three months in USA with two of my best friends. We had an awesome time, saw many different sights and visited a lot of friends and family on our way. We drove kilometers. What do you like the most about your own country: The people who live here. The way we choose to organize our welfare system.

Furthermore I want to help people with the potential knowledge I ve gathered. What were your childhood dreams: In my early years I wanted to be a pilot or racecar driver.

3 Q&A with DWIGHT - continued DWIGHT s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? People who fight for human rights. The ethical fight for equality and justice is so important in a democratic state. What are your goals in life? I want to be a loving husband, a caring father and a good friend. Furthermore I want to help people with the potential knowledge I ve gathered. What were your childhood dreams: In my early years I wanted to be a pilot or racecar driver. During my teenage years I dreamt of becoming a guitar rock star - of course. Which values do you rank the highest? Love. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? I have a clear recollection of a summer night in my childhood home where my whole family was gathered. My father and mother both had a great smile on their faces and I played in the garden with my two younger brothers. It wasn t an outstanding experience but it s totally clear in my mind and everything I remember about that day is epic and wonderful. Which was your greatest experience or moment? When I stood on the top of a mountain I California on our road trip and the whole world lied before our feet. What is your favourite colour? Black. What is your favourite animal? Lion. What is your favourite kind of food? Burger. What is your favourite kind of music: Rock. What is your favourite kind of car: Porsche 911. What is your favourite kind of pet: Dog. What is your favourite time of year: Summer. What is your favourite book and/or author: Charles Bukowski. What is your favourite movie and/or director: Shawshank Redemption. Happiest: All the times I saw new cousins joining the family. They are all wonderful kids and the family is prioritized first and foremost. Funniest: The ski trips I ve done with family and friends. All those funny and hilarious scenes where people crash and collide. Scariest: I remember a summer camp when I was just a small kid. One of the leaders told an amazingly scary story. None of us could sleep that particular night. We all slept with our flashlights ready and our backs to the wall! Proudest: When I was told that I could attend law school. All of my family and friends supported me and thought it was well done of me. Most dangerous: The skiing trip I went on in Canada. Some of the black slopes were intense! Greatest sorrow: We lost our great-grandmother a couple of years ago. She was the glue that bonded some of the family whom we don t see as much now. She was a lovely, caring and considering woman - even at +90 years.
