PROJECT BOOK AND PROJECT GUIDELINES For all 4-H members, especially those taking market animals, it is a good idea to check your project book to determine if you need a new book each year. For most projects, a new book is required each year to complete the stated goals and requirements for that project s completion and for the interview judge to evaluate. During interview judging, the judge will look at your book to determine your level of knowledge and experienced gained. The judges questions and final grade are often based on how thoroughly you have completed your project book. Each member is to have his/her own book! Livestock Project books will be stamped at interviews this year. Don t wait until the last minute. Books may not be available. Project Guidelines are available online & in the office. Review this information to prepare for interviews and understand the expectations for juding. The Ohio State University is committed to building a diverse faculty and staff for employment and promotion to ensure the highest quality workforce, to reflect human diversity, and to improve opportunities for minorities and women. The university embraces human diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and eliminating discrimination. This commitment is both a moral imperative consistent with an intellectual community that celebrates individual differences and diversity, as well as a matter of law. Discrimination against any individual based upon protected status, which is defined as age, ancestry, color, disability, gender identity or expression, genetic information, HIV/AIDS status, military status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status, is prohibited.
