7 AWARDS CRITERIA - YEAR 4-6 with Honours An overall A grading in English, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science At least an overall B in all other subjects An effort rating of Consistently or Usually in all subjects A consistently high application to the completion of Semester 1 class tasks with Distinction An overall A grading in English and Mathematics and at least an overall B grading in Social Studies and Science At least an overall C grading in all other subjects An effort rating of Consistently or Usually in all subjects A consistently high application to the completion of Semester 1 class tasks An overall A grading in English or Mathematics, achieving no less than an overall B grading in the alternate subject At least an overall B grading in Social Studies and Science At least an overall C grading in most other subjects An effort rating of Consistently or Usually in most subjects A consistently high application to the completion of Semester 1 class tasks
8 AWARD CRITERIA YEAR 7 12 with Honours Year 7-10: Students obtaining a Grade Point Average of and above based on a student s best 5 core subject results. Year 11-12: 6 VHA s or 5 VHA s and 1 HA in Board subjects. 6 VHA s or 5 VHA s and 1 HA in non Board subjects (non OP students). with Distinction Year 7-10: Students obtaining a Grade Point Average of and above based on a student s best 5 core subject results. Year 11-12: 4 VHA s and nothing less than an SA in all other Board subjects. 4 VHA s in non Board subjects and nothing less than an SA in all other subjects (non OP students). Year 7-10: Students obtaining a Grade Point Average of and above based on a student s best 5 core subject results. Year 11-12: At least 2 VHA s and 2 HA s in Board subjects and nothing less than an SA in all other subjects. 3 VHA s in non Board subjects and nothing less than an SA in all other subjects (non OP students). NB: Special considerations apply for students studying through Brisbane School of Distance Education and for those students on a flexible learning plan. The Principal reserves the right to amend the criteria due to special circumstances.
