1 RACC to Albright Transfer Guide & Course Equivalencies Thank you for considering Albright College for your transfer needs. We have designed this Course by Course Transfer Guide for your convenience. Each of RACC s transferable courses is listed with the Albright course that is its equivalent, along with any graduation requirement it fulfills. This information will assist you in course selection and will lead to a smoother transition from Reading Area Community College to Albright. Albright College operates on a course unit system, rather than semester hours. All Albright courses are considered equal to all others. Three, four and five credit hour courses at RACC are considered equivalent to one Albright course unit. One and two credit hour courses do not transfer. Graduation Requirements complete 32 course units, at least 16 of which must be taken at Albright; complete the requirements within your major(s); and, complete General Studies courses. General Studies Requirements English Compositions - Two courses are required. Foreign Language - One-to-three courses are required. Native speakers of a foreign language may be exempt. Foundations - The different approaches to knowledge explored through the major disciplinary areas; you ll take one approved course in each of five areas: 1.
