15 Mobile Disaster Hospital: Program Overview Mission: The Mobile Disaster Hospital (MDH), located in North Carolina under the auspices of the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services (NCOEMS), is a medical continuity of operations asset to aid in the recovery of healthcare infrastructure and support community resiliency in times of a disaster. Operational Capabilities: 1. Two (2) 5-bed Mobile ED (Hard Structure) 2. In patient medical unit space, up to ICU capability (Hard Structure) 3. X-ray, Laboratory, Central Medical Supply (Hard Structures) 4.
