1 OIR Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success Initiatives RESEARCH BRIEF October 2016 Top Transfer Institutions by Degree Program: and This Research Brief presents data on the top transfer institutions by students entering institutions in the and academic years. Table 1 displays the top transfer institutions of any student regardless of whether they first graduated with a degree. The transfer institution with the largest number of students in and was George Mason University (28 and 29 percent, respectively). Tables 2 through 5 display the top transfer institutions of graduates. The transfer institution with the largest number of graduates in both and was George Mason University (56 percent of transfers with degrees). The degree program with the largest number of graduates transferring in both and was the General Studies A.S. program (26 percent of transfers with degrees). Table 1.
