College closed. November 14, Monday All required documents must be received by financial aid to ensure funding of tuition and fees at the beginning of the Spring term. Documents received after this date will be processed in the order they were received by the financial aid office. Students should pay for their classes by the established pay dates if funding is not in place at that time.

Financial Aid Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status will be available on SCF Connect for students enrolled in fall 2016 term. December 19, January 4, 2017 January 3, Tuesday January 5, Thursday Winter holiday break for students and faculty. Last day for students to submit third attempt fee waiver forms for spring 2017 classes. Faculty return. Last day placement testing offered to new students for classes that begin January Progress Appeal (SAP) forms will be accepted for students who were enrolled in fall 2016 term. All institutionally approved grants, loans and scholarships exceeding tuition and fee charges will be available to pay for books and supplies. Students should review their account balance online to verify fund availability.

January 24, Tuesday Last day for students to change degree/program major for spring 2017 term. All changes after this date will be effective for the summer 2017 term. January 25, Wednesday Financial aid enrollment census date for the spring 2017 term. Total credit hours registered on this date will be used to establish financial aid eligibility. All future class registrations after this date will not be eligible for federal grants for the spring 2017 term. February 3, Friday All charges due SCF will be deducted from the disbursement of any scholarships, grants, and/or returning student loans, and the remaining balances will be available on student SCF OneCard accounts. February 13, Monday An I grade not previously completed from the fall 2016 term will be changed to an F on the student s permanent record.

4 February 17, Friday All charges due SCF will be deducted from the disbursement of student loan funds for first time borrowers and the remaining balances will be available on student SCF OneCard accounts. Faculty Professional Development Day. No day credit classes or labs. Credit classes starting after 4:00 p.m. will meet as scheduled. March 6-10 March 17, Friday March 31, Friday April 3, Monday April 21, Friday April 28, Friday Spring Break for students and faculty. Corporate and Community Development classes and selected services may be open on the weekend preceding and following the weekday Spring Break. Check the SCF website for details.
