The fraternity and sorority community at University of Delaware encompasses 4,932 students (28.2% of undergraduate students) through 48 chapters which are currently organized into four overarching communities: Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Congress (MGC), Panhellenic Council (Panhellenic), and Special Interest Greek Council (SIGC). Academic achievement is indeed a value of the community as evidenced by the all fraternity and sorority GPA being higher than the all undergraduate GPA.
