Collected all relevant documentation such as program applications and necessary policies. Assisted campus coordinators with program applications. Collected resources to help campuses support instruction. Created professional development to help drive the shift to a constructivist inquiry on IB campuses. Assisted the department of advanced academics through the creation and delivery of professional development modules, part of the state requirement for serving gifted and talented student populations. Specific teaching behaviors are encouraged that are known to enhance teaching effectiveness. The teaching preparation program worked together as a group in order to improve teaching in all curriculum areas. South Plains College Dual Credit Adjunct Classes Taught: United States History to 1877, United States History from 1877, World History, Renaissance to the Present. Delivered and planned lessons, maintained class records, offered tutorial hours as needed. College Board: Reader for Advanced Placement European History Reader: June 2008-June 2015 Scored essays associated with the AP European History Exam. Essays must be scored according to a rubric in a timely manner and the reader must be acceptable guidelines in order to be re-employed. Independent Consultant Lubbock Independent School District September Responsibilities included the assistance in the preparation of curriculum and lessons for United States History that was adopted for district use Additional responsibilities have also included the preparation of benchmark exams and assisting with new teacher seminars.
