1 2015 These Program Rules should be read in conjunction with the University's policies ( Overview The program aims to stimulate students to think creatively about the social, cultural, economic and environmental determinants of health and illness in populations and about the ganisation and delivery of public health services, including policies and practices that suppt and improve the health of people. There are two specialisations. The Public Health specialisation is intended to equip graduates f careers in public health to broaden the public health ientation of their current wk f those with established careers. The Translational Health Sciences specialisation is intended to equip graduates with skills to contribute professionally to evidence based healthcare in public health and clinical settings. The Master of Public Health is an AQF Level 9 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 2 years. Condition of continuing enrolment Research dissertation: A student must complete ce and elective courses to a value of 36 units with a minimum GPA of 5.0, befe proceeding to the research dissertation. Research thesis: A student must complete ce and elective courses to a value of 24 units with a minimum GPA of 5.0, befe proceeding to the research thesis. 1. Academic Program Rules f Master of Public Health There shall be a Master of Public Health. 2.
