WORK EXPERIENCE Ask Big Questions Director of Assessment August 2015 Present Design and maintain approach to assessment and evaluation efforts. Work with administrators and student leaders on college campuses across the U.S. to coordinate assessment mechanisms. Develop assessment infrastructures such as surveys, spreadsheets, and digital applications to gather and analyze data sets. As appropriate, write academic and general publication about Ask Big Questions work. Smart Museum of Art, September 2014 July 2015 GalleryX Coordinator Implement and coordinate the Museum s research related to its 40 th anniversary effort including authoring and editing texts. Facilitate projects and related initiatives within GalleryX space primarily concerning program coordination and scheduling. Curating and installing art objects into the gallery as well as managing care and upkeep of GalleryX interactive elements. Administrative duties such as corresponding with GalleryX program facilitators and contractors, and executing contracts and other necessary paperwork. Reporting directly to Director of Education & Interpretation. Directly involved in supporting operations across the Museum s Education, Curatorial, and Collections (Registration) departments. 2 Omaha Public Schools January 2013 September 2013 Project Coordinator, Making Invisible Histories Visible Managed summer history camp designed for eighth grade students to learn about local Latino history and create webpages based on topics that students chose. Coordinated with community members to incorporate oral history projects into the student-produced research. Administrative duties such as budget oversight, corresponding with MIHV program facilitators and contractors, and executing contracts and other necessary paperwork. Reported directly to Social Studies Supervisor, Department of Curriculum and Learning. Worked directly with Dr. Seefeldt researching vaqueros [Mexican cowboys] in Buffalo Bill s Wild West. Developed research initiatives and prospectus.
